Watercolour
Watercolour with Ollie Macdonald Oulds
Tips:
-first, start with a big brush- tread lightly, to begin with
-be free with it - no restrictions
-stop to look at the outcome - make decisions to make the work seem better rather than how to make it look like what's in front of you (work within the limitations) then move on to the next one and try again
-use a small brush to offset broader marks
After researching Falciano, I wanted to look at fashion and create pieces to dress in my final designs. However, while painting I realized I need to reflect- and decide my written message and image.
I will focus on colour and detail later- in this painting, I liked the watercolour effect and its expressive quality of the marks.
