'creating change' brief

In my last reaction to the brief, I acknowledged that in my blog I should reflect and make evaluations and discussions- I restricted myself from any writing in my sketchbook. Still, making annotations will help me see the context and my thinking to make connections, so I will do this in my sketchbook as well.

My biggest question for this project is making a film in the middle of a lockdown. I think the way to start is to use my 2D work to storyboard ideas- the way I might do this is to learn how to create an animation.

This project looks at how we can improve our communities. The issues that stand out to me at this moment relate to how we are connected through social media and how we support each other, the news we receive, and its impact. So I have flicked through 'read this if you want to take great photographs of people' for inspiration and ended up noting the ways artists have used techniques to support their ideas- to gain an idea of ways to communicate positive change.
